God Is Not My Medicine ~ Part 2
Last week, Chris shared with us God is not my Medicine💊; God is my Healer. If you didn’t get a chance to read it, make sure you check it out.
This week I wanted to stay in that same space about healing.
Chris mentioned that I had dealt with some significant health challenges over the last couple of years. I’m not going to get into details about it today, more to come at the beginning of the year about my health journey.
Today, I wanted to share 3 tips that have shifted my mental and physical health significantly.
- Standing On A Firm Foundation – My foundation is built on the Word. There were times I had to stand firm on what I know to be true based on my faith and relationship with my Father; not on anyone else’s faith but my own.
- Setting Healthy Boundaries – A wound can’t heal if it still being picked at, agitated, rubbed on if you haven’t made any changes to the environment. What I’m saying is that there will be times that you have put parameters around yourself to be in a space of healing. Your parameters could be for people, places, spaces, opinions, thoughts… you fill in the blank for yourself.
- Moving My Body – Chris and I talk about it all the time about what difference it makes when you are active vs not active. We have added a few daily practices in our lives, one is stretching after getting out of the bed in the morning and second is walking everyday. How are you staying active?
How are you maintaining a healed state for yourself?
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD …
