Have You Ever Stopped and Noticed How You Are Breathing?

Have you ever stopped and noticed how you are breathing?

Have you ever been hit by life and felt like you could not breathe?

Have you ever taken the time to take deep, cleansing breaths when you are in a situation that is causing you stress, worry, doubt, fear, sorrow, or pain … (you fill in the blank)?

Three years ago, I had to learn to breathe again. My world was starting to cave in on me, and my breathing was becoming shallow. My breathing became so shallow that I had to consciously stop and breathe because if I stopped breathing, I wouldn’t be sitting at my computer right now writing this blog post.

You are probably wondering what the heck was going on in my life that I needed to figure out how to breathe again. There was a lot going on, so much so that I had to ask my husband the month and year when my breathing became shallow and I learned to breathe differently.

March 2022

I received a phone call that I needed to go to the hospital right away because my kidneys were not functioning properly.

Fear was creeping in. Breathe.

March 2022 marked the beginning of my journey to learn how to breathe again.

Chris and I will be sharing on our podcast next week how we both had to learn to breathe again.

  1. Being able to be reminded to say Gods name which is associated with our breath is a blessing and necessity that we neglect or take for granted. Thank you cousins for being diligent and delivering God‘s word to us. ❤️
